Brussels terror attack: In pictures

Belgian authorities released pictures of two of the suspects pushing trolleys with their bombs through the terminal and said they were "actively searching" for a third man whose explosives did not to go off. Two massive suicide blasts by men with bombs in their bags hit Zaventem Airport, leaving blood and mangled bodies strewn across the check-in hall and sending terrified travellers fleeing.

At least 21 people were reported dead when enormous twin blasts hit Brussels airport and the city’s metro system today. Passengers were led onto the tarmac and the crisis centre urged people not to come to the airport. The explosions happened only days after the prime suspect in the Paris attacks Salah Abdeslam was arrested in Brussels. PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Belgium on March 30 for the India-EU Summit. Up to 35 people are believed to be injured.
