German auto major Volkswagen on Thursday reported a massive surge in the number of cars sold in November. The automaker sold 4,014 units, thereby witnessing a two-fold increase in sales for November.
The company had sold 1,942 units in the same month last year, Volkswagen said in a statement.
"We have witnessed an encouraging growth with our November sales welcoming new members to the Volkswagen family. Earlier this year, we launched the Ameo and were positive that the vehicle would succeed in drawing car buyers' attention and ithas lived up to our expectations," Volkswagen Passenger Cars India Director Michael Mayer.
