Last date for GST annual return for financial year 2017-18 extended to November 30
“Annual Return In The FORM GSTR-9 / FORM GSTR-9A And Reconciliation Statement In The FORM GSTR-9C For The Financial Year 2017-18 Is Extended From 31st August, 2019 To 30th November, 2019,' The GST Council Said In A Statement.
The last date of filing of GST Annual Return in Form GSTR-9/9A and Reconciliation Statement in Form GSTR-9C for the Financial Year 2017-18 has been extended from August 31 to November 30.
“Annual Return in the FORM GSTR-9 / FORM GSTR-9A and Reconciliation Statement in the FORM GSTR-9C for the Financial Year 2017-18 is extended from 31st August, 2019 to 30th November, 2019,” the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
Tax professionals across the country had been urging Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to extend the last date of filing of income tax return (ITR) and GST return.
GSTR 9 is an annual return to be filed yearly by taxpayers registered under GST. It consists of details regarding the outward and inward supplies made or received under different tax heads.
