The BSE benchmark Sensex on Tuesday fell over 200 points, while NSE’s barometer Nifty50 plunges below the mark of 9,400 after the Indian Army reportedly destroyed several Pakistan Army posts in retaliation to Pak’s firing.“Punitive fire assaults are being undertaken across the line of control,” Army spokesperson Major General Ashok Narula said.Maj Gen Narula said the Indian Army proactively dominated LOC, but added that it “wants peace and tranquillity in Jammu & Kashmir.”The Sensex dropped 188 points or 0.61% and settled at 30,383.25, while the Nifty50 dropped 52.90 points or 0.56% to settle at 9,385.35.
