Watch Video: Speeding car knocks off police constable in Gujarat
The Incident Occurred When The Constable, Jayanti Bhai, Tried To Stop The Speeding Car During Security Checking Near Gujarat-Rajasthan Border, Said Superintendent Of Police Neeraj Badgujar.
In an incident reported from Hadad village in Banaskantha district of Gujarat, a police constable was injured when a car he was trying to stop for a security check knocked him off near the Gujarat-Rajasthan border.
The incident was captured on a CCTV and a video clip shows the car sped on after hitting the constable Jayanti Bhai.
"The incident occurred when the constable, Jayanti bhai, tried to stop the speeding car during security checking near Gujarat-Rajasthan border," said Superintendent of Police Neeraj Badgujar.
The SP said the constable has sustained a fracture to one of his legs and was rushed to hospital by his colleagues.
Police are trying to trace the owner of the car on the basis of the number plate which was seen in the video.
