A former town municipal council President allegedly mowed down four persons and injured seven others by his car on the city outskirts, police said today.
Former Bommanahalli Town Municipal Council President Krishnappa, who also owns a bar, drove his luxury car in a reckless manner close to Parappana Agrahara cross near Electronic City and ploughed through a group of people on the pavement killing the four, police said.
He was allegedly drunk at the time of incident, they said.
The victims of the late last night's incident included two women. Krishnappa later surrendered to police.
