The Bangalore-Kolar DEMU passenger train derailed near Srinivasapura railway station today, but there were no casualties, officials said.They said the DEMU (Diesel Electrical Multiple Unit) train left Bengaluru at 8:30 AM and was about to enter Srinivasapura railway station when three bogies derailed with a loud sound, leaving passengers in panic. The train was expected to reach Kolar at 1 PM.Officials helped passengers go to their onward destinations by arranging various forms of road transport.
