Pilgrim Special Tourist Trains from Madurai from November 28
After The Successful Launch Of Two Tourist Trains From Bangalore And Puducherry, The Indian Railway And Tourism Corporation Would Operate Three ‘Pilgrim Special Tourist Trains’ Originating From This City With 700 Passengers, IRTC Additional General General Manager(Tourism) L.Ravikumar Said.
After the successful launch of two tourist trains from Bangalore and Puducherry, the Indian Railway and Tourism Corporation would operate three ‘Pilgrim Special Tourist Trains’ originating from this city with 700 passengers, IRTC Additional General General Manager(Tourism) L.Ravikumar said.These trains are the first special tourist trains from Madurai after the announcement was made by the Railway Minister during the budget.The Vishwaroopa Darshan train would touch Mahakaleshwar Omkareshwar and Somnath, while Guru Kripa Yatra train would visit Shirdi, Pandharpur, Mantralayam, among others.The tours were being organised for 11 days and seven days from November 28 and December 21 respectively, he said.Passengers boarding the other train, Akhanda Bharath yatra—would visit Christian, Muslim and Hindu pilgrim centres, he said, adding, it would also be operated in December for 11 days, he said.
