Police looking for men involved in sexual harassment
City Police Is On The Lookout For Four Men Who Are Alleged To Be Involved In Sexually Harassing A College Girl On Board The Metro Train On Saturday.
City police is on the lookout for four men who are alleged to be involved in sexually harassing a college girl on board the metro train on Saturday.
"We have circulated the pictures of four men involved, and are on the lookout for them," a police official involved in the investigation informed.
"We received the complaint on October 15, while the incident happened on October 12. We are at work to nab those involved," he said.
The second year BCom student had alleged that she was harassed by the four men on October 12 while returning home in a metro train around 8 pm, the CCTV recording of which has been accessed by the police.
They reportedly boarded the train at M G Road station and followed the girl till Byappanahalli station, passing lewd remarks and making rude gestures right through the ride.
The girl had also alleged that metro guards and its management with being incompetent in helping her.
