13,000 prisoners performed at Yoga Day event in Delhi

Creating a record performance, 13,000 inmates across three jail complexes in the national capital performed yoga asanas to mark the fourth International Yoga Day on Thursday.Inmates from Mandoli, Tihar and Rohini prison complexes performed at the yoga event, an official said. He said yoga teachers from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Panchawati Yogashram and Nature Cure Center visited the Tihar jail and made the inmates perform yoga. On last Sunday, yoga guru Baba Ramdev had conducted a yoga session with nearly 11,000 inmates.
