25-year-old man shot dead in road rage after minor accident in east Delhi

In an incident of road-rage, a 25-year-old man has been shot dead in east Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar area, police said.
Deepak Bhadana, a resident of Faridabad, was returning from a family wedding with his relatives on Monday night when the incident took place, police said.
The accused 40-year-old Yashpal, a property dealer, has been arrested, they said.
Deepak was reportedly shot after his car hit a SUV bearing a VIP number and a Uttarakhand number plate.The victim’s relative said,”Deepak got down to talk to the accused. They had an argument. The accused was drunk and hence the other relatives asked him to sit in the car,” said Police.
Suddenly, the accused whipped out his pistol and fired, the relative said. The bullet hit Deepak behind his ear and he died on the spot, police said.
Deepak had a cow fodder business. He was the only earning member in his family and his father who was a Hawaldar in the Indian Army and had died of illness.
