Delhi rose to chilly and foggy morning with temperature as low as 11 degree Celsius at 7:48 AM on Monday morning.
Due to thick blanket of fog that engulfed the entire Northern Indian region on Monday, many flights and train operations have been affected. 53 trains arriving in Delhi were delayed while 26 rescheduled for Monday. Three trains were canceled due to fog and other operational reasons.
Flight operations were affected too as the arrival and departure of several domestic and international flights were delayed, according to the Delhi Airport website.
10 domestic and 8 international flights delayed at Delhi's IGI Airport due to fog. However, there were no cancellations or diversions, said an airport official.
