Canadian national uses bogus ticket to enter Delhi airport, held by CISF
He Was Apprehended Around Late Noon When He Could Not Give A Satisfactory Explanation To CISF’s Queries.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, deployed for Delhi airport security, apprehended a Canadian national on Friday after they found him roaming suspiciously inside the Terminal-3 (T3) building of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport.JS Malhi had used a cancelled ticket to enter the airport premises and was apprehended around late noon when he could not give a satisfactory explanation to CISF’s queries. Malhi told the Central Industrial Security Force personnel that he had entered the terminal to see his two daughters off, who were travelling to Canada, they said.Malhi was subsequently handed over to the police as the cancelled ticket was a fake entry document, they said. Official sources added that a Canadian national was held at Delhi Airport for allegedly using a fake travel ticket to see his daughters off.Entering airport terminal without a valid ticket is illegal under the Indian aviation rules.
