Delhi: Mentally challenged man kills aunt with brick, injures mother with flower pot
A woman was killed and another injured when a mentally challenged man battered them with a brick and a flower pot in north Delhi’s Burari on Tuesday night, the police said on Wednesday.
Kanhaiya Kumar, 45, killed his 65-year-old aunt with a flower pot and injured his mother with a brick. Kumar is mentally unstable and was exhibiting weird behaviour in the last two-three days. He was not even eating food properly, his family members told police.

His aunt had come visiting his family on Tuesday night. After killing his aunt, he picked up a flower pot and hit his mother in spite of his wife and children trying to control him. Kumar is married with three daughter and two sons.

His aunt was declared brought dead at the hospital while his mother, who sustained severe head injuries, is critical, said a senior police officer.
