Delhi: Heroin worth Rs 200 crore seized from Azadpur Mandi

Heroin worth Rs 200 crore Thursday was seized from apple cartons in Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi. The heroin was brought to Delhi from Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district in a truck laden with apple cartons, according to the police. The driver of the truck is currently being questioned.

The heroin laden apple cartons were to be brought to Delhi's Azadpur mandi from Kupwara but were intercepted and seized from a highway toll plaza in J&K by Narcotics Control Bureau from a truck. The driver of the truck is being questioned, news agency ANI tweeted.
