A technical glitch in Blue Line Metro caused a scene of chaos at the busy Yamuna Bank station on Sunday afternoon.
“Train services on Line-3 were affected since 5:31 pm due to breakage of catenary wire (OHE) near Noida Sec-15 Metro station on Up line (going towards Dwarka),†confirmed a metro official. An official statement said that during the restoration work, train services were run on single line between Noida Sec-16 and Yamuna Bank thru down line and short loop services were introduced between Noida Sec-16 and Noida City Centre.â€â€œRestoration was done by 6:44 pm and train services are now being normalised on entire Line-3,†the statement said.Â
