Traffic Restrictions Will Be Enforced In Various Parts Of The City On The Occasion Of ‘Dussehra’ And ‘Durga Puja Visarjan’ On Tuesday.
Traffic restrictions will be enforced in various parts of the city on the occasion of ‘Dussehra’ and ‘Durga Puja Visarjan’ on Tuesday.
The affected stretch of roads—Mandir Marg, Panchkuian Road, Connaught Place outer circle, Minto Road, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, Chittaranjan Park, Outer Ring Road, Maa Anand Mai Marg, Josip Broz Tito Marg—and Nehru Place will be closed from 1 to 5pm, said Garima Bhatnagar, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic).
Traffic on Ring road/Outer Ring road from Rajghat to Burari via ISBT, Majnu Ka Tilla, Boulevard road, Wazirabad road, Yamuna bridge, Vikas Marg will be affected between 2 pm to 8 pm.
Traffic on Pushta Road Gandhi Nagar, Khajuri Pushta Road, Sonia Vihar Pushta Road, Mathura Road, GD Birla Marg (Road No 13A) will be affected between 3 pm to 8 pm.
Parking facilities for vehicles are provided near Sanyas Ashram in Shahdara, Kudesiya Ghat/Geeta Ghat, Shyam Ghat, Hathi Ghat, Kalindi Kunj, and Mayur Vihar extension Ghat.
There will also be restrictions on movement of traffic on Netaji Subhash Marg, Nishad Raj Marg (New Darya Ganj Road), Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg and Turkman gate depending on the crowd situation, after 5 pm, the officer said.
