IPS Officer Amulya Patnaik Has Been Appointed As The Next Delhi Police Commissioner On Monday.

IPS officer Amulya Patnaik has been appointed as the next Delhi Police Commissioner on Monday.
The former Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Verma has been appointed as the next chief of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) few days ago.
Among senior IPS officers like Deepak Mishra, Amulya Patnaik and Dharmender Kumar, Patnaik came up as the frontrunner.
Patnaik, is a 1985 batch Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre IPS officer. He hails from Orrisa.
Currently, he is posted as Delhi police special commissioner (general administration).
