A Irani Student Of Jawaharlal Nehru University Was Allegedly Attacked On Sunday After India-Pakistan Champions Trophy Match By Students Associated With Abvp, Including It’s Leader Saurabh Sharma.
A Irani student of Jawaharlal Nehru University was allegedly attacked on Sunday after India-Pakistan champions trophy match by students associated with abvp, including it’s leader Saurabh Sharma.
In a letter written to chief proctor, the student named Payal Sajal has claimed that on Sunday evening in damdoar hostel many students were bursting fire crackers and when he objected he was assaulted.
The victim also said that the group of students who assaulted him were drunk as well. In his letter, he also wrote that if no action is taken by the JNU administrative authorities then he will complain to police.
However later on Monday the victim Payal Sajal filed a police complaint against ten people for allegedly manhandling him.
