A woman was killed after a four-story building collapsed in Delhi’s Azad market, reports said on Friday. 2 people were rescued, while search operation was on as few people were feared trapped under the debris, reports said.
Eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot, according to fire department.
"Mother and daughter duo were taken out from debris. Mother was declared brought dead in hospital, while daughter has been rescued safe," Delhi Police DCP North, Madhur Verma said.
"There are no more people trapped under the debris, but the search operation is still on. NDRF also called in," he added.
