Man jumps before Delhi Metro train at Dwarka Sector 9 station, critically injured
A man was critically injured after he jumped before a metro train at Dwarka Sector 9 metro station today.
On April 16, a septuagenarian allegedly attempted suicide by jumping in front of a metro train in Dwarka.
According to Mohammed Ali, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Delhi Police Metro, the incident took place at around 10.50 am at Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station.
“The man was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. The man identified as Surrender, a retired Section Officer, suffered internal injuries and is unconscious. The reason of attempted suicide is not yet known,” said the DCP.
“Surender had left home on Monday morning telling his wife that he was going to Hanuman Mandir,” said the DCP.
