School teacher stabbed by teenager

A school teacher was allegedly knifed near the Bodinayakanur bus stand in Theni by an unidentified teenager this morning, police said.
Malathy, a 42-year-old teacher, was attacked when on her way to the school. She raised an alarm and the assailant, a boy of aged 18 or 19, sped away, they said.
She is now hospitalised, they added.
The teacher said she couldn't identify the attacker as she was too stunned and shocked, when the incident took place. A search is on to nab the teen, the police added.
