Two people carrying a cash of more than Rs 10 lakh in new currency were held in Geeta Colony area of Shahdara district.
A Delhi Police constable found two suspicious looking men with Rs 10,99,500 in new currency. They were caught and handed over to the IT department for further interrogation, said a senior police officer.
DCP (Shahdara) Nupur Prasad tweeted, “#AlertOnDuty Ct Arvind Geeta Clny PS intrcptd M/Cycle on patrolng &caught 2ppl wd Rs1099500 new currency.IT officials informed @DelhiPolice (sic).”
