Two people awarded life imprisonment in murder case in Ghaziabad

A local court awarded life imprisonment to two people on Friday who were accused of killing their friend fifteen years ago. Additional District Judge Satya Praksh Tripathi awarded life term to Aasif Ali and Kanhaiya apart from imposing a fine of Rs 17,000 on both, additional district government counsel Anil Sharma said.
The main accused in the case, Pramod Sharma, had passed away four years ago. On October 5, 2002, the three accused had called their friend Chandrapal from his house on some pretext and killed him.
They dumped his body on the railway tracks in Sahibabad. The next day Chandrapal's body was found following which his father lodged a police complaint against the threeaccused.
