In yet another crime incident, six people have allegedly robbed jewellery worth lakhs in rupees from a jewellery shop at Crossing Republik in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Six people, in a group of two, came to the Vaishvi Jewellers at around 11:15 am on Wednesday and looted the shop.
The robbers had done meticulous planning to effect the crime. They engaged the shopkeeper by asking him to show them some jewellery pieces.
When the shopkeeper left his counter, the robbers took no time in picking up a jewellery box without coming to the shopkeeper’s notice.
The theft was recorded by the CCTV cameras installed in the shop.
