Video | IndiGo staff fights with passenger at Delhi Airport, Airline apologises

However, The Argument Took A Violent Turn And The Passenger Was Assaulted By The Two Staff Members.
In an act of sheer disrespect, a passenger was manhandled by Indigo Airline staff at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. A video was tweeted by ANI on Tuesday in which a passenger can be seen arguing with two staff members of Indigo airlines. However, the argument took a violent turn and the passenger was assaulted by the two staff members.Â
In the video, it can be seen that how two staff members forced the passenger to the ground and started a fist fight with him. the incident took place on October 15.
The incident was probed by the designated committee which took action against staff who was main culprit, by immediately terminating his employment.
Sanjay Bhatia, IGI Airport DCP, said that there was some misunderstanding between passenger and staff which they compromised later.
Earlier, Civil Aviation Minister AG Raju sought a report from DGCA on the incident and said that violence of any sort is deplorable and should result in criminal action.Â
Earlier on November 4, Olympic silver medallist shuttler PV Sindhu accused an Indigo airline ground staff of misbehaving with her while travelling from Hyderabad to Mumbai, calling it a very bad experience.
