Hyderabad Police busts prostitution racket; Telugu movie and Bengali TV actress rescued

A prostitution racket were busted by Hyderabad police on Sunday where in two women, aspiring to be actors were also trapped.
The Hyderabad police arrested two men under sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
Police raided two different five star hotels on Sunday and rescued the two women one of who belongs to the Mumbai film industry and the other a Bengali TV serial actor.
According to Task Force (North Zone) Inspector K Nageshwar Rao, police raided two hotels in Panjagutta and Banjara Hills last night and apprehended Monish K and Venkatesh, the alleged organisers of this racket.
He said that the two women, one from Mumbai and the other from Kolkata, rescued are actors.
The two men have been booked under relevant sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA)and further investigations were underway, the official said.
Rs 55,000 cash , three cell phones and a car were also recovered from the accused. The police discovered that the brokers were operating via online and booking rooms from behind the scenes.
