Two Persons Were Charred To Death And Four Others Seriously Injured When A Major Fire Broke Out In A Chemical Factory In The District, Police Said On Tuesday.
Two persons were charred to death and four others seriously injured when a major fire broke out in a chemical factory in the district, police said on Tuesday.
The fire broke out on Monday afternoon in the factory located in Sukher industrial area, they added.
Most of the workers managed to come out but a few were trapped inside, Mangilal, SHO, Sukher police station, said.
The fire was extinguished in the evening and two men, identified as Shantilal (30) and Rajesh, were found dead inside the factory, he added.
The four injured persons -- Praful Rawal (25), ManoharGameti (20), Kalicharan Saini (18) and Mahesh (45) -- were undergoing treatment at the district hospital, the SHO said, adding that they were admitted in the hospital with 50 to 60per cent burn injuries.
