Pakistani Army on Saturday morning shelled civilian areas with mortar shells along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
However, no loss of life or injury has been reported said a police official."The Pakistan Army launched mortar shells in Khadi Karmara forward areas in Poonch around 1100 hours today," the official said.
The Pakistan Army also shelled Chakan Da Bagh forward area in Poonch along the LoC. The shells fell deep inside the Indian territory.
Three Indian Army jawans were injured when Pakistani troops opened fire and started shelling along the LoC in Poonch district on Friday while on Thursday a 45-year-old woman was killed in shelling by Pakistani troops in Poonch's KG sector.
Since the start of 2018, 18 people, including 10 security personnel and eight civilians have lost their lives while over 75 injured in Pakistani shelling along the LoC and the International Border in Jammu region.
