FIFA U-17 World Cup: Seven arrested in Kolkata for black marketing World Cup tickets

The fever of FIFA U-17 World Cup has not only struck the soccer lovers but the black marketers as well.
According to reports coming from Kolkata, the Bidhannagar police on Saturday arrested seven persons including three volunteers of the FIFA U-17 World Cup from near the Salt Lake Stadium in Bidhanagar area of Kolkata when they were busy selling tickets against high prices, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate sources said.
All this was happening when matches were in progress.
The Bidhannagar police nabbed all the seven accused acting on a tip-off. Some of the arrested were allegedly found in a drunken state, the sources added.
This is the first such instance reported from Kolkata since the beginning of FIFA U-17 World Cup on October 8 where arrests have been made for black marketing tickets of the international sporting event.
