Four passengers killed in mishap in Howrah

Four passengers were killed and 31 injured when a bus returning from Puri hit a trailer truck at Kashyappur in Howrah district on NH 6 on Saturday.
70 people from Jagadballabhpur in the district had gone to Puri on Monday and were returning from there on Saturday when the accident took place.
An 11-year-old girl and the helper of the bus were among the dead, the police said.
The injured were admitted to Uluberia Sub Divisional Hospital where the condition of two persons was stated to be serious.
The bus driver escaped from the spot, the police said.
