Metro railway services were disrupted after a moving train came to a halt on the tracks due to technical glitches between Belgachia and Shyambazar stations.
“At around 8.31 PM, a Kavi Subash-bound train from Dum Dum came to a halt between Belgachia and Shyambazar stations due to technical glitches,” Metro Railways CPRO R Mahapatra told PTI.
The passengers of the train were evacuated and engineers were rushed to the spot.
While trains are now plying from Kavi Subhash to Girish Park Metro stations, “We will start full services from Kavi Subhash to Dum Dum very soon,” Mahapatra said.
