Veteran CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta said there appeared to be some understanding betwen Congress and Left parties in West Bengal for the coming Assembly polls.“There appears to be some understanding” (between Left parties and Congress) in West Bengal, Dasgupta told reporters at the airport here while replying to a specific question on the matter, without elaborating.Dasgupta, General Secretary of AITUC, alleged that the economic policies of the Centre were affecting the workers.Inflation and communalism will figure in the 41st All India Conference of AITUC beginning here, he said.
