West Bengal: 5 dead, 20 injured as bus falls into Haripal canal in Hooghly

Five people died and 20 were injured on Tuesday as the bus they were travelling in fell into a canal in West Bengal's Hooghly district, the police said. The bus, heading for Kolkata, fell into the Dakatia Khal at Haripal, near Gojarmore at around 9 am, injuring 15 people, SP Sukesh Jain told PTI.
