A Delegation Of German-Swiss Company Today Met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav And Expressed Willingness For Setting Up Solar Power Plants In The State, An Official Spokesman Said.
A delegation of German-Swiss company today met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and expressed willingness for setting up solar power plants in the state, an official spokesman said.
Director of Institute for Micahel Passi, Barbel Passi and the company’s Indian associate Kailash Kumar met the CM, he said.
Expressing interest in capital investment in solar energy and metro rail sectors, Passi also expressed willingness in setting up of three solar power plants of 2.5 mega watt, 10 MW and two of 5 MW in the state, the spokesman said.
The CM said that to promote setting up of solar power based projects in the state, the government has implemented solar power policy.
He said under the policy the government allocated solar power projects of 130 MW in the first phase.
Akhilesh said a project having capacity of 10 MW had already been launched in Mahoba district.
He assured the investors for full cooperation for investment in the state.
