A woman in the village of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh died on Wednesday after she unknowingly sat on mating snakes whilst on the phone with her husband. According to IANS reports, the woman has been identified as one Gita, wife of Jai Singh Yadav who works in Thailand. With the monsoon season, it is believed that the snakes must have entered the house and coincidentally ended up on Gita’s bed unbeknownst to her.
