A Clash broke out between police and farmers who were holding protests in Unnao. Farmers were holding protest alleging that they were not given proper compensation for their lands that were acquired for the Trans Ganga City project of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation.
"We are demanding justice from the past 3 years as our land has been forcefully acquired by the UPSIDA for trans-Ganga city project. We want compensation. UPSIDA can start the work after fulfilling our demands.
