Coronavirus: Cops At CM Uddhav Thackeray’s Residence To Be Tested After Tea-Stall Owner Near Matoshree Tests Positive

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Tuesday said that the cops at chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s residence Mahoshree will be tested for coronavirus. This comes a day after a tea-stall owner near the bungalow tested positive of COVID-19. On Monday, a vendor who sells tea near 'Matoshree', the private residence of Maharashtra Chief Minster Uddhav Thackeray in suburban Bandra, was found positive for novel coronavirus infection.
As a precautionary measure, the BMC has sprayed disinfectants in the area. "The vendor runs a tea stall in the locality. After he was found positive, contact tracking is going on," he said.

With 120 fresh cases, the Covid-19 tally in Maharashtra on Monday mounted to 868, a Health official said. "Out of the 120 people, 68 have tested positive from Mumbai city alone and 41 from Pune," he said. "The remaining cases includes two each from Vasai-Virar area, Satara and Ahmednagar, three from Aurangabad and one each from Jalna and Nashik," he added.
