Maharashtra: 3 dead, 2 kids injured after motorcycles collide in
Three persons were killed after two motorcycles on which they were travelling collided near Sarani area of Dahanu in neighbouring Palghar district late evening on Sunday, police said.
Police said that two children, who were also on the two vehicles, have been severely injured and are undergoing treatment. ALSO READ | Ahmedabad: Four-storey building collapses in Odhav area
The dead include a young married couple who were returning after celebrating Raksha Bandhan, he said.
He identified the dead as Swapnil Shingada (28), his wife Sharmila (25), both residents of Urse in Dahanu, and Mohan Guhe (28) of Wadhna. ALSO READ | Uttar Pradesh: Heavy rains claim 10 lives in past 24 hours
He said that three-year-old Aarush Shingada and four-year-old Manavi Guhe suffered grievous injuries and had been shifted to Kasa rural hospital and Silvassa hospital respectively.
