Shiv Sena Local Leader Shekhar Jadhav Shot At In Mumbai's Vikhroli, Gunman Arrested
The Incident Took Place Around 8 Am Near Sai Mandir In Tagore Nagar Area Of Vikhroli.
A local Shiv Sena leader was shot at in Mumbai’s Vikhroli on Thursday morning. The Shiv Sena functionary has been identified as one Shekhar Jadhav. News Nation has learnt the Jadhav was injured in the attack. Initial reports say that he suffered a gun wound in shoulder. The gunman has been arrested and the police is probing the matter. Jadhav was rushed to nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. At the time of attack, Jadhav’s son was also present with him. The incident took place around 8 am near Sai Mandir in Tagore Nagar area of Vikhroli. Local residents nabbed the attacker and later handed him over to the police. Local reports say that Jadhav was getting threat calls for past one week. The motive of the attack is still not clear, police has not ruled out personal enmity.
