Three killed, 19 injured in road mishap in Yavatmal
Three people, including two women, were killed and 19 others injured in a road mishap in Eastern Maharashtra, police said on Friday.
The mishap took place on Thursday evening when a pick-up van packed with passengers crashed into a roadside tree near village Gondwadsa in Umarkhed tehsil of Yavatmal district after the driver lost control over the wheels, they said.
The van, carrying devotees of Fulaji Maharaj, was heading towards Adilabad district in adjoining Telangana, the police said.

The deceased were identified as Balu Shreeram Sable (35), Narmadabai Dulaji Bomble (45) and Rukhmabai Keshav Wanjare (55), all residents of village Dhanaj of Umarkhed tehsil.
Nineteen other passengers were injured, three of them critically. The seriously injured were admitted to the Government Medical College in Yavatmal, the police added.
