Bengal BJP celebrates Modi's birthday with cleanliness drive
The BJP’s West Bengal unit on Monday celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday through cleanliness drive in various parts of the state, a senior party leader said.
Modi turned 68 Monday and is scheduled to celebrate his birthday with school children in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

“We have celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday through cleanliness drive in various parts of the state and the city. The party workers have organized ‘Swachhta Campaign” and cleaned various streets,” BJP national secretary Rahul Sinha said.

“We had also propagated about various welfare schemes that the BJP government at the Centre has introduced since 2014. It is a week-long programme, where we will reach out to the people with various welfare initiatives that has been undertaken by various central government ministries,” he said.
