Mizoram: Final electoral roll out; totals 7,68,181
Mizoram has listed a total of 7,68,181 voters after the four-month revision of electoral roll, state Chief Electoral Officer S B Shashank said.
According to the final electoral roll for Mizoram, which was published Thursday, female electors outnumbered male voters. The number of female voters stood at 3,93,685 as against 3,74,496 male voters.

There are eight districts in Mizoram and Aizawl district has the highest number of voters at 2,88,322 followed by Lunglei district at 1,04,930. Siaha district has the least number of voters at 38,843 votes.
With the voters list out, preparations for the coming election to the 40-member state legislature is underway, Shashank said.
