Prohibitory order declared in Kamrup district
In An Official Release, The Kamrup District Administration Said The Step Has Been Taken Considering Any Possible Attempt By Terrorists To Blast Oil Pipelines Or Damage Properties Of Other Essential Services In The District.
Prohibitory orders under Section 144 Crpc has been declared in the entire Kamrup district by the district administration on Thursday with immediate effect.
In an official release, the Kamrup district administration said the step has been taken considering any possible attempt by terrorists to blast oil pipelines or damage properties of other essential services in the district.
As per the order, no unauthorised person can enter within 100 metres of important installations of various departments like oil, electricity supply, telephone services and LPG bottling plants.
Also, not more than five people can assemble at any public place, besides carrying of firearms, taking out processions and playing loud speakers are prohibited, the statement said.
