4 Dead, 40 Injured After Bus Overturns In Madhya Pradesh's Satna
The Horror Unfolded Shortly After The Driver Lost Control Of His Bus, Resulting In Overturn Of The Vehicle In Madhya Pradesh's Satna.
In yet another tragic incident, four persons were killed and 40 others injured after a passenger bus overturned at Kirhai village in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district on Friday. The mishap took place at about 10 am this morning when the bus was on its way to Hinauti village.
The horror unfolded shortly after the driver lost control of his bus, resulting in overturn of the vehicle. Soon after the incident, villagers rushed to the spot and helped some of the passengers to get out of the bus. Of the 40 injured, 16 are in a serious condition and undergoing medical treatment.

"The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned, killing four people and injuring 40, of whom 16 are in serious condition," Amarpatan police station in charge RP Singh told reporters. "Villagers from nearby areas helped in rescue operations," he added.
Talking about the latest health update of the injured, Dr Sushil Patel of the Amarpatan Community Health Centre said, "Those with serious injuries have been shifted to the district hospital in Satna. Others are being treated here".

Meanwhile, District Collector Satyendra Singh has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 10,000 to the injured. The deceased have been identified as Kushal Prasad Pandey, Manish Mishra, Ajay Singh and Ramprakash.
