Patna blasts: No intelligence inputs given to Bihar police, says ADG
Serial Blasts Rocked Patna On Sunday Ahead Of BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate And Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Hunkar’ Rally. The Toll In The Blasts Has Risen To Six.
The Bihar ADG said on Monday that the state police did not receive any specific intelligence inputs about the serial blasts in Patna. However, Indian Mujahideen has emerged as the prime suspect in the blasts.
“No specific intelligence input was given to Bihar Police. The state police had only general input,” Ravindra Kumar said.
Earlier on Sunday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also said that there were no inputs about the terror attack.
Serial blasts rocked Patna on Sunday ahead of BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Hunkar’ rally. The toll in the blasts has risen to six.
Nitish had also said that adequate security arrangements were put in place for the rally and there were no lapses on part of the administration.
