Delhi Shocker: Upset Domestic Help Abducts 91-Year-Old In Fridge From Greater Kailash House
In a shocking case, a 91-year-old man was allegedly abducted by his domestic help from his house in posh Greater Kailash area. Initial investigations by the Delhi Police revealed that the domestic help was reportedly upset with his employer. The Delhi Police source said that domestic help was the prime suspect in the case. Shockingly, the domestic help kidnapped the senior citizen from his house in a refrigerator. The victim has been identified as one Krishna Khosla. According to an NDTV report, Khosla and his wife beaten up by six men. The house help, identified as Kishan, was working at Khosla’s house for pat one year.
"Thefts have increased in the area but this is the first time that I have heard about something like this," said Shyam Kalra, a resident was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Previously, the Delhi Police launched a mobile application for senior citizens to enable them to reach out to the police quickly in emergency situations. The app 'Delhi Police Senior Citizen' was launched by then Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma in the presence of senior police officers in 2016. At present, 27,645 senior citizens are registered with Delhi Police.
