Foreigner allegedly gangraped in moving car in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj
In Her Complaint, The Woman Has Named The Three Men And Claimed That She Knew The Prime Accused In Person, Police Added.
A 31-year-old woman from Uzbekistan has been allegedly gangraped by three men in inside a moving car in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area, police said. The alleged incident took place on Saturday. A case has been registered and an investigation is going on into the matter. However, no arrests have been made so far, police said.
“Based on the complaint, a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Devender Arya said.
In her complaint, the woman has named the three men and claimed that she knew the prime accused in person, police added. The woman in her complaint said that a 25-year-old boy, along with two of his accomplice, assaulted and gangraped her on August 10.
The woman has been living in Delhi for the last six months and the main accused is a resident of Gurugram. The police refused to share further details but assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
