Pakistani music composer Wajahat Attre passes away at 68 on Saturday

Wajahat Attre, one of the most renowned music composers of Pakistan has passed away at 68.

More than 3,000 films have been blessed with his magical creations year after years.

Since past few days he was suffering from paralysis and heart problems and took his last breath on Friday at the Jinnah Hospital of Lahore.

Attre who was born in Puna (Gujarat), India in 1945 was laid to eternal peace at Miani Sahib grave yard.

Followed by partition after 1947 Independence, Wajahat and his family migrated to Pakistan.

His father Rasheed Attre is also well known for his expertise in music.

Attre has gifted a series of popular film songs and drooled people over his exceptional talent.

'Wagdi nadi da paani', 'Vay ik tera pyar menu mileya', 'Anda teray layi reshmi rumal' are some of those gems.

A number of eminent singers such as Noor Jehan, Humera Channa, Saira Naseem, Shabnam Majeed, Saima Mumtaz and Azra Jahan also worked with the legend.
