Rapper Nicki Minaj has a shocking announcement for fans-retirement! The Anaconda rapper on Thursday took to her social media account to give out news that she is hanging up her wigs and costumes, "I've decided to retire & have my family," tweeted the wildly successful rapper raised in the New York borough of Queens.

With reports that wedding is on the cards for the Super Bass singer ever since she engaged to music executive Kenneth Petty, Nicki’s plan to retire and start a family seems plausible.

Whichever the real reason be, her announcement to retire has been met with grief by a lot of fans.
